Coffee Shop Barista

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and improve service skills. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with customers. Proficiency in cash register operation and retail math for accurate transaction processing. Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in coffee shop or sales is mandatory.
