As a Lead Barista, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service while expertly preparing boba tea and food offerings. Your leadership will inspire team members to provide memorable experiences, uphold food safety standards, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your barista skills, manage daily operations, and contribute to a dynamic retail environment dedicated to quality and community engagement. Duties Lead daily café operations, ensuring efficient service and high standards of food safety and cleanliness Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, teas, and food items with precision and flair Manage POS systems Chowbus and accurate transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting Oversee team members' performance, providing coaching on customer service, food preparation, and product knowledge Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times Maintain inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with ordering to support smooth café operations Foster a welcoming environment by engaging customers with friendly service and resolving any issues promptly Qualifications Proven experience as a barista with strong boba tea-making skills and knowledge of the food industry standards Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a café or retail setting preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Chowbus for sales transactions and cashiering Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us as a Lead Barista where your passion for tea meets your leadership talent!
