Cashier/Barista The Farmers Grind Inc South Salem, NY Job Details Part-time $17.00 - $22.50 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Paid training 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Paid sick time Qualifications Serving Food production Guest relations Merchandising Cleaning Full Job Description The Cashier/Barista is responsible for maintaining guest service as per company standard, generating sales, housekeeping, signing, cash register operations (POS), food preparation, operating expresso bar and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies/store standards. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Ensure each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, and advertisements. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping. Assist in processing and replenishing products including base good, produce, dry goods, etc; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock; ensure re-wraps are done promptly Ensuring expiration dates are stocked with earliest date in the front. Taking and preparing food/drink orders and ensuring accuracy and timeliness Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers Communicate guest requests to management Perform other duties as assigned
