Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation areas. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or the café industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using a cash register. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
