Duties Provide friendly, attentive service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, payments, and cash handling with accuracy Take food and drink orders efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Assist with food handling, serving, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times Manage multiple tables or bar stations while demonstrating strong time management skills during busy hours Support catering and banquet events by setting up, serving, and clearing food and beverages as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including bar stations and dining spaces Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or sports venue Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate order processing Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service Join us at our Downtown Akron Sports Restaurant where every shift is an opportunity to energize guests with exceptional hospitality!
