Barrel & Bloom is a one-of-a-kind neighborhood gathering place in the heart of Linworth, where we're a thoughtfully run coffee bar by day; and by evening we come alive with internationally inspired beers from Endeavor Brewing and craft cocktails built on Endeavor's own distilled spirits. We pour care into every cup and every conversation. We're a team that takes craft seriously and hospitality personally — and we're looking for someone who does too.

THE ROLE

As a part-time barista at Barrel & Bloom, you'll be the heartbeat of our daytime experience — crafting espresso-based drinks with precision and warmth, connecting with our regulars outside of the coffee bar, and contributing to an atmosphere that keeps people coming back. You'll work alongside our bar team in a space that transitions seamlessly from a coffee ritual in the morning to a relaxed bar destination by evening.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and serve espresso drinks and specialty coffee beverages to our quality standards Maintain consistent drink quality through proper calibration, dosing, and milk technique Speak knowledgeably about our brand and assist guests in exploring Endeavor Brewing's beer and spirits offerings Provide genuine, attentive hospitality to every guest from open to close Keep the location and coffee bar clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout your shift Operate the POS system and handle cash and card transactions accurately Support seamless transitions between coffee service and evening bar operations Participate in staff tastings, beer and spirits education, and ongoing menu training

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 1-2 years of professional barista experience in a specialty coffee setting Proficiency on espresso equipment (dialing in, tamping, steaming) Strong latte art fundamentals are a plus A genuine passion for hospitality Ability to mix fast-paced, high-volume environment with more a more laid-back customer base Excellent communication and teamwork skills with people from diverse backgrounds and viewpoints Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays (our busiest days) Interest in craft beer, brewing, or spirits is a strong plus — we love curious people who want to learn
