Job Description
River Daze Cafe is a casual breakfast and lunch establishment with a hard-working, fun-loving crew. We take pride in providing excellent service and product with many of our menu items and ingredients prepared in house. We are currently seeking a motivated individual with a passion for delivering quality service and product to join our team. We are currently looking to fill a weekend barista/front counter position with more hours and days becoming available as the busy season unfolds. Both Saturday and Sunday availability is a must. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions and cash handling Prepare and serve coffee and food items while adhering to food safety standards Prepare and deliver espresso and other bar drinks Deliver food to customers Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and the café Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and timely order fulfillment Communicate effectively with customers to enhance their experience Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks as needed Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Benefits shift beverage, discounted on and off shift meals on accrued sick pay set schedule
