Pairing genuine hospitality with world class coffee, and a seasonal food menu to match, Proud Mary is beyond excited to be opening its doors to the Austin community this August. Proud Mary is looking for passionate and energetic baristas to join the team here in Portland. Currently looking for someone 3-5 shifts per week. Open availability is a must!

You thrive in high-volume environments and understand that quality is at the forefront of every cup. You're charismatic and engaging, and are comfortable driving the customer experience from behind the bar.

RESPONSIBILITIESService Greet customers with energy and warmth Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages Technical knowledge and ability to produce exceptional quality coffee consistently Serving prepared foods to customers with a professional approach Monitoring the quality of coffee being served to ensure consistency and standards are met Receiving and processing customer payments Nurturing positive relationships with employees, suppliers and customers Following operational systems, processes and policies under the direction of managers Ability to effectively restock to ensure adequate quantity and quality, including rotating stock and recording wastage Product Knowledge Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them Provide customers with product details, being passionate in your approach and demonstrating knowledge of all food and drink items Ability to keep up to date with industry standards and technical knowledge Willingness to participate in educational opportunities Quality Control Ensure quality products including presentation of beverages and any food items before they reach the customer Adherence to recipes and quality standards

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 3

years or more working within the speciality coffee industryBartending experience preffered but not required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ability to keep composure under pressure Exhibits strong people and communication skills Great team player
