Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their visit Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance Manage cash register transactions, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate payments Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed to support overall café operations Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and actively listen to guest needs Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
