Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and teas Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using POS systems Assist in food preparation and serving light food items in accordance with food safety standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction Experience Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and serving protocols Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Experience with cashiering, food preparation, or retail math enhances your ability to excel in this role Join us as a Barista and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
