Job Overview Join our vibrant café team as a Barista, where your energy and passion for coffee will create memorable experiences for every guest. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety protocols Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality standards are met at all times Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in accordance with health regulations Requirements Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café, and perform physical tasks involved in food service Reliable team player with a positive attitude eager to learn and grow within the café environment Join us in creating a lively atmosphere where every cup brewed brings joy!
