Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part Time Barista to join our vibrant caffee team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about coffee, customer service, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food service or coffee preparation, with strong skills in POS systems and cash handling. This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to develop skills within the food industry. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and light food items according to established recipes and standards Operate POS systems such as Epos NowPOS for order processing and payment handling Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management Uphold a friendly, professional demeanor to enhance the customer experience Skills Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred Proficiency with POS systems Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and communication Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience in serving, food handling, and food industry standards is advantageous This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking part-time employment within a dynamic café setting.
