Job Summary Join our vibrant café team as a Barista and Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for every customer. In this dynamic role, you'll craft delicious coffee beverages, serve food with a smile, and efficiently handle cash transactions using advanced POS systems. Whether preparing beverages or managing sales, you'll be an essential part of our fast-paced café, ensuring smooth operations and delightful experiences at every touchpoint. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and beverages with precision, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide exceptional service to enhance their visit. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales swiftly and accurately, including cash handling and card transactions. Manage food safety protocols, including proper food handling, preparation, and serving standards in accordance with health regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas to promote a safe and inviting environment. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels to meet customer demand efficiently. Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks. Experience Prior experience working as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus. Proven ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and register balancing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry. Experience managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced café or retail environment. Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
