Barista/ Cafe Worker

Permanent, Year-Round Employment Shores Sisters is seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has a love for coffee and customer service and enjoys creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. In this role, you will prepare high-quality beverages and food items, maintain café cleanliness, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with accuracy and care Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering menu questions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including prep stations and dining areas Follow all food safety standards and sanitation guidelines Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service Handle cash transactions accurately and make correct change Assist with inventory by monitoring stock levels of coffee, food items, and supplies

Qualifications Required:

Strong customer service skills and positive attitude Basic math skills for cashiering duties Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred (but not required): Previous barista or coffee shop experience Familiarity with food service and safe food handling practices Experience with Clover POS Why Join Shores Sisters?
