Job Description

Cafe Crew & Shift Lead The Copper Crust Co. —
York, PA Position:
Full-Time (@38-40 hours/week)
Schedule:
Average shift is 1:30 PM - 8:45 PM. Sunday morning shifts are required.
Pay:
Determined by experience.
About Us:
The Copper Crust Co. is a growing team of 25 passionate professionals located on S. George St. We recently launched a new concept in York and have another on the horizon. Now is the perfect time to join us and fast-track your growth into a management role.
Who We Are Looking For:
An attentive, ambitious, and self-motivated professional with front-of-house (FOH) experience. You should be ready to take on a leadership role, guiding our evening team and ensuring flawless standard operations.
Key Responsibilities Shift Leadership Team Guidance:
Manage the evening shift to ensure proper service, delegate side work, and oversee closing duties.
Operations & Financials:
Execute proper closing procedures, reset the floor for the next day, and accurately close out registers.
Communication:
Maintain the FOH communication sheet with complete shift details.
Daily Operations Guest Experience:
Greet customers, take orders, run food, and actively engage with guests to ensure an excellent experience.
Beverage & Bakery Support:
Prepare beverages to customer specifications and assist the bakery team with tasks as needed.
Shop Standards:
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace (wiping, mopping, trash removal) and coordinate smoothly with the kitchen team. Qualifications Prior front-of-house food/hospitality experience preferred. Strong communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members. Ability to stay calm, organized, and detail-oriented in busy situations. Flexible availability (evenings and at least one weekend day/evening required). Physical stamina to be on your feet moving quickly for long periods and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
