In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, crafting delicious beverages and providing top-notch customer service in a lively, fast-paced setting. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we welcome your enthusiasm and dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Operate Toast POS system. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage preparation stations, and customer seating areas, following food safety standards. Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or dietary needs, and ensure a positive experience. Restock supplies regularly, including coffee beans, cups, lids, and other essentials to keep operations running smoothly. Support food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours while adhering to food safety guidelines. Helping with dish responsibilities Skills Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is key! Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude that makes guests feel welcome. Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and retail math calculations. Knowledge of beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink preparation methods. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods and ensure smooth service flow.
