Experienced Barista

Cowesett Coffee is a popular new, fast-growing, locally owned coffee shop. We are currently looking for applicants that are extremely detail oriented, who multi-task well in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as a team. We are dedicated to serving quality coffee and excellent service to our customers. Our mission is to serve consistent premium drinks, create a cozy space where neighbors feel at home, and build lasting connections in the community. As part of our growing team, you'll not only craft great coffee but also help shape the welcoming, community-driven atmosphere our guests will love coming back to. We're looking for dependable baristas to join us and help set the standard for our café experience.

What You'll Do:

• Craft delicious espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages with care and consistency.
• Welcome every guest with warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality.
• Prepare and serve food items safely, following all food handling and health code standards.
• Follow shop procedures and maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and service.
• Keep the café tidy and inviting by cleaning work areas, equipment, and customer spaces.
• Handle cash register and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Complete opening and closing duties as scheduled and required.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1-2 years of barista or café experience (required).
• A people-person who enjoys connecting with customers and coworkers.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to handle a busy environment with a smile.
