•16/hour + tips Employee Parking Provided Sweet Palm is looking for an experienced, friendly, and dependable barista to join our team at our downtown Charleston location. We're looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent social skills who can provide great customer service while working efficiently in a fast-paced café. We currently have a particular need for closing shifts. Some opening shifts are also available, but preference will be given to candidates with consistent weekday and weekend closing availability. What We're Looking For Previous barista or specialty coffee experience preferred Strong weekday and/or weekend closing availability Reliable, punctual, and dependable Positive attitude and strong work ethic Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers Able to work quickly and efficiently during busy periods Strong attention to detail Able to follow recipes, procedures, and management direction consistently Clean and organized while working Able to take initiative and think on your feet Professional, clean, and well-groomed appearance Strong communication and social skills Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Reliable transportation and a reasonable commuting distance to downtown Charleston Responsibilities Preparing espresso drinks, specialty lattes, matcha, chai, refreshers, and other beverages Providing friendly and efficient customer service Following Sweet Palm recipes and portion standards consistently Maintaining speed and quality during busy service Operating the POS and handling customer transactions Restocking the bar and supplies throughout the shift Maintaining a clean and organized café Completing opening and/or closing procedures Cleaning espresso equipment, workstations, and customer areas Working closely with other baristas, kitchen staff, and management Schedule We are currently prioritizing applicants who can reliably work weekday and weekend closing shifts. Some opening shifts may also be available. However, preference will be given to applicants with consistent closing availability, particularly those who can close both weekdays and weekends. Compensation Base Pay:

• Starting base pay within the range will depend on experience, qualifications, and availability. Employee parking is provided during scheduled shifts , so employees do not have to pay for downtown parking while working. •25/hour figure represents on-target total earnings, including base hourly wages and tips, and is not a guaranteed hourly wage. This range is based on Sweet Palm's current and historical sales, tip, and employee earnings data, which we can review with qualified candidates. Actual earnings may vary based on shifts worked, customer volume, sales, tips, hours, and other factors.
