Job Summary Perky Pine is looking for a friendly, dependable team player to join our family-run business. This position is about much more than making coffee. You'll be one of the friendly faces our guests see when they visit Perky Pine, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in providing great service, keeping things clean and organized, and helping wherever needed. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, specialty drinks, Refreshers, Red Bull infusions and other beverages according to Perky Pine recipes and standards Take customer orders and operate our Square POS system Accurately handle cash, credit cards and other payments Sell and serve beer and wine in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, helpful customer service Answer questions and make recommendations about our menu and products Prepare and serve bagels and prepackaged grab-and-go foods Keep the coffee shop, counters, seating areas and customer spaces clean, organized and welcoming Restock coffee, cups, syrups, food, retail products and other supplies Assist with opening and closing duties Complete laundry for Timber Haven Cabins, including washing, drying and folding linens Help maintain the appearance of the front porch, patio and surrounding property Communicate inventory needs, maintenance issues and anything that needs the manager's attention Work cooperatively with the entire team and step in wherever help is needed Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Friendly and genuinely enjoys working with people Dependable and punctual Honest and trustworthy Comfortable handling money and using a POS system Able to stay organized during busy periods Willing to learn Comfortable working independently when needed Someone who notices what needs to be done and doesn't wait to be asked A team player who understands that everyone pitches in Takes pride in cleanliness and doing things the right way Previous barista, coffee shop, retail or food-service experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person The Perky Pine Difference We're a small, family-run business, and that means everyone matters.
