The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to food safety standards. Pay $11 - $14 per hour (includes hourly rate + estimated tips) . Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and handling. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash management practices. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee, food supplies, and other café essentials. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency. Requirements Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks effectively during busy periods. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus but not mandatory.
