Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Toast to process transactions efficiently and accurately Engage with customers to provide friendly, attentive service, ensuring their needs are met promptly Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café environment Assist in food handling, food preparation, and serving snacks or light meals as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Requirements Prior barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Toast is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Join us as a Barista and be part of a team that values energy, enthusiasm, and dedication!
