Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dedicated Baristas and Lead Baristas to join our teams at our El Paso and Houston locations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft high-quality beverages, deliver outstanding customer service, and be a vital part of a passionate coffee community. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, non-alcoholic drinks, and food items with precision and care Engage with customers warmly, providing exceptional service that creates memorable experiences Operating POS systems efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash handling Maintain cleanliness of the café area, equipment, and food safety standards through regular cleaning and food handling procedures Manage beverage preparation, food safety protocols, and proper food presentation to ensure quality standards are met Assist in training new team members on beverage techniques, POS operation, and customer service expectations Support the team during busy periods by processing cash transactions quickly and accurately while maintaining a positive attitude Qualifications Previous barista experience or café background preferred; strong knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service is ideal. For applicants for Lead Barista, coffee knowledge and leadership experience is required. Familiarity with POS systems is preferred Proven ability to handle retail sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a food service environment Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters community engagement Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing register operations Join us at 787 Coffee Co., where your passion for coffee meets the opportunity to make every customer's day brighter!
