Overview:

Full-Time Barista at Just Love Coffee & Café (Georgetown) Just Love Coffee & Café is more than a coffee shop. It's a place where people feel seen, known, and loved . We believe every guest interaction matters. Whether someone is grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down with their family, our goal is to create a space where community happens naturally. We are hiring full-time Baristas who will help us deliver excellent coffee, great food, and genuine hospitality every single day.

What You'll Do:

☕ Serve Guests with Excellence Welcome every guest with warmth and attentiveness Guide guests through the menu and make recommendations Create a consistent, positive experience from entry to exit ☕ Craft Drinks & Food with Quality Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, and teas to recipe standards Execute food items with care, consistency, and speed Maintain high standards even during busy rushes ☕ Maintain a Clean & Safe Environment Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Keep the café, bar, and kitchen clean, stocked, and organized Follow proper glove use, hygiene, and cleanliness protocols at all times ☕ Work as a Team Support teammates during rushes and throughout the shift Communicate clearly and step in wherever needed Maintain a positive, team-first attitude ☕ Stay Ready & Reliable Show up on time, prepared, and ready to contribute Execute daily checklists and responsibilities Be coachable and open to feedback and growth

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Previous experience in specialty coffee or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction handling. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation.

Availability Requirements:

This is a full-time role Must be able to work at least one weekend shift per week Occasional Sunday availability required

Probationary Period:

Your first 90 days will be a probationary period. You are an At-Will employee and the company or you, may terminate your employment for any reason during this time period.
