Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with accuracy using proper cashiering procedures Follow food safety protocols and food handling guidelines to ensure quality and safety standards are met Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed, ensuring timely delivery to customers Qualifications Prior barista experience or strong coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and food preparation procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café area, and lift moderate weights when necessary Experience in retail math, cashiering, serving, or food industry roles is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm fuels great coffee moments!
