Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for coffee, ensuring that every cup served meets our high standards of quality. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in our café, providing excellent service while preparing a variety of beverages and food items. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks while adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Operate the POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, equipment, and dining areas. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations during food handling and preparation. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and efficiency. Utilize time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Experience Previous barista experience or coffee experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and handling practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers in a retail environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
