Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other menu items with attention to quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for orders and payments Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Uphold health standards by adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation practices Requirements Previous barista experience or background in coffee service preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail sales is desirable A positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork orientation are essential for success in this role
