Job Summary Join our vibrant café team as a Barista Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for every customer. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with accuracy and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and serving food items as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality or safety Qualifications Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café, and perform light physical tasks Familiarity with food industry practices including serving, food preparation, and retail math is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey in the vibrant world of café service!
