Job Description
Café Team MemberJob Summary We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Café Team Member to join our team! In this role, you'll help create a welcoming experience for every guest by providing excellent customer service, preparing beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and keeping the café stocked and running smoothly. No previous experience is required—we're happy to train the right person! Our café is open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM , and team members typically work 6-hour shifts . If you enjoy working with people in a fast-paced environment and have a positive attitude, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Greet every guest with a warm, friendly attitude. Prepare and serve fresh coffee, brewed tea, and other café beverages according to company standards. Restock inventory and refill active supplies throughout each shift. Wash dishes, utensils, and beverage equipment. Keep the café clean by wiping counters, cleaning workstations, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining dining areas. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are running low. Work as part of a team to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Requirements No previous café or food service experience required —training is provided. No resume required High school diploma or GED Friendly, kind, and professional with a positive attitude. An active listener who communicates well with guests and coworkers. Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting items throughout a shift. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions. Able to work flexible schedules between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM , including weekends and holidays as needed. Team player who is easy to work with and committed to providing excellent customer service.
