Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our What's Up Brew team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage preparation. As a key member of our team, you will create a welcoming environment for customers while ensuring high-quality beverage and food service. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards Operate POS square system for order processing and cash handling Manage customer orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Assist with food preparation and serving food items as needed Maintain cleanliness of the preparation area, including equipment, counters, and exterior Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth daily operations Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service, with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques Familiarity with square Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions, retail math, and cash handling Experience in serving, cashiering, and food preparation within a café or retail environment is preferred but not required Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate effectively with staff members This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about delivering quality coffee experiences in a dynamic drive thru café setting.
