Job Description

Overview We are seeking a mature, seasoned, and reliable Barista to join our team at our novel coffee shop, located in the historic Ranch House at Moab Springs Ranch. This role is perfect for a passionate coffee professional who loves the craft, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent guest experience. We are looking for someone whose experience and professional demeanor naturally set a positive, welcoming experience for both our guests and our team.
Key Responsibilities Deliver Hospitality:
Provide exceptional, warm, and attentive customer service, building genuine connections with regulars and welcoming new guests. Craft with
Precision:
Prepare a variety of specialty coffee beverages, teas, and food items with a high standard of consistency, quality, and presentation. Lead by
Example:
Maintain a calm, professional, and mature attitude during peak rush hours, setting a positive tone on the floor.
Collaborate & Support:
Be reliable and dependable, work seamlessly alongside team members, offering a helping hand and sharing your coffee expertise naturally with junior staff. Maintain Café
Standards:
Keep the coffee shop, indoor/outdoor seating areas and bathrooms clean, organized, and welcoming, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Daily Operations:
Handle POS transactions, cash drawers, and order accuracy with efficiency and precision, prep and stock food items as required.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
High-volume specialty coffee or barista experience preferred.
Customer Service Excellence:
A warm, mature, and professional demeanor with advanced communication skills. Passion for the
Craft:
Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and drink building.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience working with POS systems (we use TouchBistro) and handling cash accurately.
Reliability & Poise:
A track record of being dependable, punctual, and level-headed under pressure.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and able to lift 30 pounds regularly.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
