We're on the lookout for a talented barista to join our team! If you have at least a year of experience working as a barista or customer service, can handle a fast-paced environment, and excel at multitasking, we want to hear from you. We're currently hiring for a part-time position, about 20 hours a week. Baristas are the foundation and the brand of our company. They are friendly, personable, and have the ability to engage with customers by providing outstanding service. The ability to work with cross-functional teams, participate in team meetings, always be eager to learn, and have the ability to multitask with efficiency and speed at all times are essential.Essential Functions :
- Always provide exceptional customer service, resolve all customer complaints, and ensure the customer leaves satisfied.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures with integrity.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume and unusual events.
- Ensure requested beverages are made to our standard and delivered in the expected amount of time.
- Knowledge of general business operations, drive sales, and reduce costs.
- Report any equipment issues as soon as they occur to management.
- Maintain location cleanliness and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Effectively problem solve and escalate issues to management.
- Execute opening, closing, and shift change procedures, including cash/deposit handling.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Have or ability to obtain a food handler's permit by the time of hire.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and use motor skills constantly.
- Must have weekend availability.
- Minimum of 1 year of barista experience or customer service.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
