Job Description
Emish Market is a Ukrainian grocery store located in Fife, WA, offering a wide selection of imported goods from Ukraine and other European countries. In addition to our market, we operate a full-service caf, bakery, and meat department, preparing fresh Ukrainian dishes, pastries, and specialty meats daily. Our mission is to create a warm, authentic, and memorable experience for every guest. We are currently seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista / Server to join our caf team. This role is essential in delivering outstanding service, preparing quality beverages, and ensuring a smooth caf experience for every guest. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and loves interacting with people. What You'll Do Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other caf beverages according to recipes and quality standards Greet customers, take caf orders, and process payments accurately Deliver completed orders to customers in the caf dining area Assemble, pack, and hand off online and take-out orders Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service area Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times Monitor inventory of caf supplies and notify management when items run low Support team members during busy periods and help maintain efficient workflow Provide friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service

4:00 pm - 12:30 amPayCompensation:
$18 per hour + tips (team members typically earn up to $21-23/hr)Benefits:
1 paid hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked; Medical insurance (75% company-paid coverage for employee); Paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment; 2 weeks after 2 years. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of barista or food service experience required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash/card payments Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork skills Availability to work weekends and evening shiftsBenefits
