Our fresh fruit smoothie and coffee shop is looking to hire 1-2 energetic employees who have great customer service and pay attention to detail. We are looking for hard-working reliable employees. Someone who is up-beat, positive and ready to be part of the team! Someone with Smoothie and or coffee barista experience is preferred but not required. The location is next door to Great Harvest, behind Costco in Kennewick WA. We are hiring part-time employees for morning and afternoon shifts. Training will be given onsite in the store. Open availability is preferred, but we try to accommodate for your schedules as best we can. Our best employees have a great work ethic, are willing to learn and jump in quickly, they get along with others and have a fun personality with the ability to learn quick and connect with the customers. Responsibilities:

In general: We have a small team of employees, so each will be expected to help with the smoothie and coffee counter as well as the produce part of the store. Your responsibilities would range from taking and making orders, and working a cash register, to stocking the shelves/displays, preparing fruit and deli items, assisting customers with fruit purchases maintaining the work areas clean/presentable. You will help to ensure that all tasks (the daily tasks) and orders are completed timely and efficiently throughout the day especially on your shift.

Provide excellent customer service:

Customer service is an essential part of the experience provided at our business. Positive attitudes are a daily requirement. You will be responsible to acknowledge, greet, and serve the customers as they come in. Help answer any questions they may have. To show them around the store if it's their first time. Help provide them samples and or to help them make a smoothie... you may be required to also help carry out a box of fruit for them to their car on occasion. We work as a team. We do not assign certain people to specific tasks, but cross train all our staff team members to do a little bit of everything. Thus, you will be taking an order and serving a customer... then you may be washing dishes or preparing a deli item or restocking the displays. You will be responsible to make sure things are stocked, presentable and the store is clean. This includes helping to restock/"face" the displays and the deli case (you will need to be able to follow a recipe) to restock any items or fruit that are low when needed. You will need to be knowledgeable about the different varieties of fruit and products we carry. For the new products coming in we encourage you to try them yourself as well.

Barista:

Our most popular items are the smoothies. We expect you to memorize the recipes (for the Coffees and Smoothies ). As the face of the company as one of the baristas you will be tasked with helping to take the smoothie and coffee orders, prepare them, serve them to the customer and to then proficiently check them out at the register (with a smile :) ) We are seeking employees that work well on a team, that have excellent people skills, and customer service! We are seeking dependable employees that are honest, and whom we can trust to work hard for the duration of the shift. We hope to create a fun but "at the farm" atmosphere in the store mixed with a personal, local experience. You will need to be able to multi-task and work efficiently.

Experience/requirements:

High School Graduate (must be 18 yr. old) You must like working with people and have great Customer Service Skills You must like fruit (at least it is preferable that you do) :) Self Motivator Detail and Task Oriented Sense of Humor Confident Outgoing and Energetic Cooking/Baking skills
