The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and food service, providing exceptional customer experiences while efficiently preparing beverages and food items. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to company standards. Operate POS systems such as Square POS or Clover POS for order processing and cash handling. Manage customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quality standards are met. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to promote repeat business. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks during shifts while maintaining high service standards. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is desirable but not required. We will train the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and food preparation practices. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
