Responsibilities Prepare a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for retail sales transactions, processing cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately. Greet customers warmly, take orders promptly, and serve food and beverages with professionalism and enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, seating areas, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards. Manage retail sales transactions with accuracy using POS systems while handling cash and processing payments securely. Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Support the team with time management during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Qualifications Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with beverage service is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are necessary. Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and proper cleaning protocols in a food industry setting. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
