About us:

We are a quick-service neighborhood café, scratch bakery, and coffee shop in Poulsbo. We pride ourselves on our intentional menus with with local sourcing, providing an inviting space for the community, and working with our fellow team members to build and maintain a positive work environment. We are looking for hard workers with the ability to work quickly, efficiently, and show pride and attention to detail in every interaction. We provide a unique opportunity to work alongside the owner and a small staff as you experience all aspects of restaurant service and offer real input into menu decisions.

COMPENSATION

Baristas with a demonstrated proficiency in espresso service start at a base pay with an average of $5

• 10/hr in tips.

Base pay is evaluated at regular intervals. There is room for growth for those that show drive and ambition!

WORKWEEK

we are open Tuesday-Sunday (closed Mondays) 8 hour shifts Opening shifts can start as early as 6am Closing shifts end around 5-5:30 pm Saturday-Sunday shifts are 8 am-4/5 pm

REQUIRMENTS

Must be 17 years or older. Must have weekend availability Have the ability to stay self-motivated & utilize down-time effectively. At least 1 year barista experience is preferred Acquire a food handler's permit within one week of hire date. Must be reliable and dependable

• maintain and clean environment and wash dishes as needed
• stock FOH, maintain accurate inventory, communicate needs with your team
• utilize Square POS to perform transactions and manage inventory
• precise cash-handling
• maintain a proactive and team oriented work ethic
• prepare espresso drinks to recipe, understand and adjust espresso grind to ensure ideal extraction
• prepare online orders on time
