Whether you're preparing drinks or managing the register, your contributions will keep our café running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items with skill and care. Operate POS systems Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and reconciliation. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, ensuring all food handling complies with health regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards. Assist in food preparation and serving as needed to support smooth café operations. Qualifications Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in food service or retail environments is a plus.
