Job Description
Part-Time Barista - Afternoon Shifts Java Jive Thru is hiring a reliable, experienced Barista to join our team! We are looking for someone who enjoys providing great customer service, works well independently, and takes pride in keeping a clean and efficient workspace. Schedule Part-time position Approximately 12-18 hours per week Afternoon shifts only: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional weekend coverage as needed Requirements Previous barista experience required Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly (our stand operates on water tanks and supplies must be moved) Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Trustworthy, dependable, and self-motivated Friendly and professional with customers and coworkers Able to work independently and stay productive during slower periods Willing to help with cleaning, stocking, and organizing when business is slow Patient and understanding as our business is currently navigating ongoing road construction that impacts traffic and sales Looking for someone who can commit to the position for at least six months Responsibilities Preparing espresso beverages and other menu items Providing outstanding customer service Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards Restocking inventory and supplies Assisting with daily opening, operating, and closing duties Keeping the stand organized and running efficiently What We're Looking For We want a team member who is eager to work, takes initiative, and understands that every task matters—even during slower shifts.
