Lillie's Soulful Plate is seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Meal Service Attendants / Cashiers to join our team at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing customer purchases, maintaining an attractive and organized food service area, receiving and stocking product deliveries, and representing the Lillie's Soulful Plate brand. This is a front-of-house position and does not involve cooking or food preparation. Team members should enjoy interacting with customers and be comfortable sharing information about our food, Southern-inspired menu, and the story behind Lillie's Soulful Plate. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process cash, credit/debit card, and other approved payments. Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products, ingredients, and available offerings. Share the Lillie's Soulful Plate brand story and provide knowledgeable information about our Southern-inspired food. Recommend and promote products to customers when appropriate. Maintain clean, organized, stocked, and visually appealing display and service areas. Receive deliveries throughout the day and unload, organize, rotate, and stock products. Monitor product levels and restock displays, beverages, packaged foods, supplies, and other merchandise as needed. Follow FIFO procedures and monitor product dates, labels, packaging, and overall quality. Maintain proper food temperatures and follow applicable food-safety and sanitation requirements. Clean and sanitize counters, equipment, displays, and other assigned areas. Maintain a clean customer-facing area throughout the shift. Accurately complete opening, shift-change, and closing procedures as assigned. Communicate inventory shortages, customer concerns, equipment issues, or operational problems to management promptly. Work effectively during busy airport periods while maintaining excellent customer service. Follow all Lillie's Soulful Plate policies and applicable SEA Airport security, access, and operational requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Customer service, cashier, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using a POS system and handling customer transactions. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently when necessary. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Professional and positive attitude. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, stock products, and safely lift and move deliveries and supplies. Must be available for assigned shifts, which include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays . Must be able to meet applicable airport badging, security, and access requirements. Food Worker Card required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.

Pay:

$22.00 per hour
