Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drinks with precision and care Operate POS system Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling areas, beverage stations, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards Manage cash handling duties by processing cash transactions accurately and balancing registers at shift end Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards are met for all café offerings Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking between duties seamlessly Qualifications Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus Strong knowledge of beverage service, drink preparation, and food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and food prep Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where every guest feels valued!
