Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately using a cash register
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering menu recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and workstations
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers
• Assist with food preparation, such as baking pastries or assembling sandwiches
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred
• Strong math skills, including basic math and retail math for cash handling
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
