Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service Operate POS systems such as Toast POS and Square POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations Assist in food preparation and food service tasks to support overall café operations Uphold food safety standards by following proper procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitation Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in the food industry with strong coffee knowledge and serving skills Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS and Square POS for smooth transactions Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic approach Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation, and food handling procedures Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the vibrant world of café service.
