The Pickle Jar is a small bustling neighborhood coffee shop looking for a friendly and dependable Barista / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in great customer service, and has a passion for coffee and community. Hourly wage based on experience plus tips! Must be available to work year round, Wednesday•Fridays 7:00 am-1:00 pm and weekends 8:00 am•1:00 pm. ⸻

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly, engaging manner Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso beverages Accurately take and process customer orders using a POS system Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment Restock supplies and follow daily cleaning checklists Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service ⸻

Qualifications:

Previous barista or food service experience is a plus, but not required Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Reliable, punctual, and a team player Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs ⸻
