Overview Join our vibrant café team as a dedicated and energetic Barista ! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, dirty sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about menu items Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, sanitation, and equipment upkeep Manage cash handling duties efficiently, including processing cash transactions and giving correct change Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality standards are met Support team members with food preparation tasks when needed and assist in maintaining a welcoming environment Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly in a fast-paced setting, and manage time effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with beverage service, drink preparation, and non-alcoholic beverage crafting is desirable Strong attention to detail in cleaning routines and food preparation processes This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in lively environments and enjoy creating memorable experiences through exceptional service.
