Bartender

Job Summary:

Tequila 61 is now hiring for part-time and full-time bartenders for the summer! We will be expanding our hours beginning May. Our hours for the summer are 11am

• 10pm Sunday through Thursday, and closing at 11pm Friday and Saturday beginning June 1st.

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartenders to elevate our team! Specializing in craft cocktails and premium agave spirits, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional drinks with both speed and quality. In our bar, you'll need excellent attention to detail to deliver elevated cocktails to our guests while delivering an excellent experience for the guests you are personally serving. If you're skilled in crafting cocktails and find fulfillment in providing hospitality and personalized experiences to guests, we'd love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Guide customer through our well rounded agave selection
• Ensure accuracy in order taking and promptly enter orders into the POS system
• Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails with precision and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the bar area before service and cleaning up after closing

Skills:

• Previous experience working as a Bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
• Strong knowledge of various types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele
• Willingness to learn about new spirits and cocktails
• Ability and desire to delve more in depth into tequila and mezcal history as well as distillery characteristics

Pay:

$13/hr starting + tips + server tipout
