Job Description
Job Summary An exciting new restaurant venture is seeking skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders and Servers to join our dynamic team. This fast paced, upscale bar and grill is located in Osceola Arkansas. Ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We value attitude over aptitude and are happy to invest and train the right applicant. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for possessing full knowledge of the beverage list, preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. In addition, you will be building the business through your personality and quality of the products you create. As a server, you are at the forefront of the operations, creating an experience for our guests and ensuring you are maximizing your earning potential. the bar will serve as a hub for hotel guests so you will be required to handle simple hotel functions and customer service tasks. Responsibilities Take food and drink orders in an efficient and friendly manner Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, restaurant and back of house areas, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of supplies, liquor, and products ; assist in ordering as needed. Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist with event execution as needed and directed Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders to ensure timely and accurate service. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant and bar procedures as well as established customer service standards. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in sales techniques to promote menu items effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with restaurant POS, cash handling and basic accounting skills. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods. Previous experience in a restaurant and/or bar setting is preferred but not necessary..
