Job Description
Come join a small staff that is passionate about what they do! We are looking for a bartender to work at the taproom at the brewery in downtown Rogers. The ideal candidate is a team player, honest, kind and used to working in a fast-paced environment. Position will start as part-time and has the potential to grow. Hourly wage listed includes tips. The ideal candidate would have flexible time available during the week and weekend availability is a must. Position Summary Serving customers with a friendly attitude and knowledge of Ozark Beer Co's products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operates in a spirit of open and honest cooperation while valuing the inherent self-worth & dignity of every employee and customer. Performs opening/closing duties Cleans and stocks glassware Serves alcohol to customers responsibly & politely Assists customers with questions and concerns Stocks packaged beer, soda and merchandise Answers the telephone and passing callers to the proper authority Accurately tenders money and gives change for purchases made at the bar Beer knowledge: Accurately describe all beers on tap & cans in cooler, compare & contrast beers & styles, know proper glassware, and price points Full knowledge of all employee discounts, policies, procedures for sales reps & guests Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. Important Skills and Abilities Must be 21 years of age or older Ability to resolve customer complaints about beer and/or service. An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards who will positively represent Ozark Beer Co both internally and externally A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player Responsibility and accountability Strong interpersonal skills Efficient money handling skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task Proactive disposition; takes initiative Problem solving skills Strong attention to detail Physical Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Walking surfaces may be wet and/or slippery. Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally maneuver with mechanical means/assistance 165 lb kegs Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
