$11/hr + tips. Staff typically earn $16-$19/hr with tips (estimate, not guaranteed). About Us Doomsday Coffee & Roasterie is a veteran-owned specialty coffee roaster serving Northwest Arkansas through our café and our food trailer at local events and festivals. We roast our own beans, take our craft seriously, and look for people who work hard and take pride in what they serve. The Role This is an all-around position. You'll pull shots, pour drinks, prep and cook food, and keep the place running clean and smooth. If you like staying busy and learning every part of the operation, this is for you. Requirements Must be 21 or older Able to obtain required food handler and alcohol server certifications (we'll help) Reliable, on time, and able to work weekends, evenings, and events Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs Barista, bartending, or kitchen experience preferred but not required. We'll train the right person. Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers, take orders, and make menu recommendations Operate the POS, handle cash and card payments, and balance the drawer Deliver orders and check on customers Handle complaints professionally and escalate when needed Keep dining, counter, and condiment areas clean and stocked Barista Prepare espresso drinks, drip, pour-over, cold brew, and specialty drinks to recipe Dial in grinders and maintain espresso machines Steam and texture milk for latte art Clean and backflush equipment daily Bartending Mix and serve beer, wine, and cocktails to spec Check IDs on every alcohol sale and refuse service to minors or intoxicated guests Follow all Arkansas alcohol laws and house policies Track bar inventory and keep the bar clean and stocked Food Prep & Kitchen Prep ingredients: chopping, portioning, mixing, and batching Cook and plate menu items to recipe and presentation standards Label, date, and rotate stock (FIFO) Monitor and log food temperatures Follow all health code and food safety rules, including handwashing, cross-contamination prevention, and allergen handling Wash dishes and sanitize prep surfaces and equipment Opening, Closing & General Duties Complete opening and closing checklists Sweep, mop, take out trash, and clean restrooms Receive and put away deliveries Assist with inventory counts and restocking Help set up, run, and break down the food trailer at events and festivals Report equipment problems and safety hazards Cover other stations as needed and work as a team Why Work Here Tips on top of base pay Hands-on training in specialty coffee, bar, and kitchen Flexible part-time scheduling Small, local, veteran-owned team
