Barback / Bartender Apprentice Magnums is hiring a barback with the opportunity to learn bartending, craft cocktails, whiskey knowledge, cigar service, and high-end hospitality skills in a fast-paced lounge environment. This is not your average barback position. We are a higher-end cigar, whiskey, and cocktail lounge focused on service, product knowledge, and guest experience. Position Details 28-34 hours per week $12.15/hr + tips Typical hours: 5 PM - 1 AM Summer position with opportunity for long-term growth Must be 21+ Must be available Fridays, Saturdays, and most holidays What You'll Learn Bartending fundamentals Cocktail and whiskey knowledge Proper cigar cutting and lighting service High-volume bar operations Guest interaction and hospitality skills Experience that can transfer into most bars and restaurants Responsibilities Restocking liquor, beer, cigars, ice, and bar supplies Cutting and juicing fruit Assisting bartenders during service Making charcuterie boards Washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness Sweeping, mopping, and closing duties Lifting and changing kegs Maintaining a clean and professional workspace What We're Looking For Strong work ethic Team-oriented attitude Comfortable working in a smoke environment Comfortable working around alcohol Ability to move quickly and stay organized under pressure Interest in hospitality, cocktails, whiskey, or cigars is a huge plus If you want real hospitality experience and the chance to grow behind the bar, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door while working in a unique upscale setting.
