Description:
SUMMARY Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take food & drink orders from customers. Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Serves wine and draught or bottled beer. Collect money for drinks served. Submits orders or requisitions for liquor and supplies to the Supervisor Arrange bottles and glasses to make an attractive display. Slice and pit fruits for garnishing drinks. Maintain a lounge-type environment Provide exceptional customer service to patrons of the establishment. Maintain accurate stock Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must be able to stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours daily. Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds regularly. Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to work in an environment containing excessive noise and smoke. Must know about the Arizona Liquor Laws. Must have an open availability to cover shifts or work during regular days off, if needed. Ability to do basic math; provide correct change when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
All applicants must be at least 19 years of age. Must have a current Health Card or be able to obtain a Health Card.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE A
high school diploma or equivalent is preferred 6 months of work experience in a related field is preferred
NATIVE AMERICAN AND CURRENT EMPLOYEE EMPLOYMENT PREFERENCE POLICIES ARE APPLICABLE TO ALL POSITIONS. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT AND ON-GOING RANDOM DRUG AND ALCOHOL
TEST.
